I purchased the Windone e-bike new for my 14-year-old son, knowing he's pretty rough on his gear—it's built tough, but kids will be kids. After several crashes, he eventually damaged the main hub wire that connects into the rear axle. I reached out to support, and they were incredibly responsive, shipping a replacement wheel under full warranty coverage right away.
However, the replacement wasn't quite right—it turned out the company had redesigned the bike to address some common issues, like relocating the motor wire inside the frame to protect it from damage during layovers or crashes. This is a smart upgrade, but it meant the new wheel wasn't compatible with our original model. I sent them photos, and they suggested transferring the new motor to the old wheel hub (and even reimbursed me for the labor). Unfortunately, that didn't work either due to compatibility differences.
They promptly sent a second replacement wheel, but it was still the updated version. At that point, support recommended a full bike exchange to resolve everything. I shipped the old one back (they didn't provide original packaging, which would've helped, but I improvised with materials from work), and once they received it, the new bike arrived quickly. The exchange process was straightforward overall.
The replacement bike is a fantastic upgrade! The engineering improvements, especially the wire routing, make it much more durable and user-friendly. We've had it for a few weeks now, and despite my son's continued adventures, not a single part has been damaged. As a thank-you for the hassle, they even threw in complimentary phone holders free of charge.
I'm truly grateful for the efficiency and professionalism of Windone's support team—they turned a frustrating situation into a positive experience. If you're looking for an e-bike that can handle some abuse and comes with solid warranty backing, I highly recommend it. Attached is a photo comparing the old and new wheels: the bottom one shows the original design with the wire protruding from the axle end (more prone to damage), while the top one has the improved version with the wire routed inside for better protection. Also included, a close up of the new design showing the re-routing of the wire to line up on the inside of the rear subframe improving protection.
Rating: 4.5/5 stars – minor hiccups in the replacement process, but the end result is outstanding!

Purchased my E2 about 6 months ago and had an issue with the motor. Contacted customer support and they were very helpful in troubleshooting my problem. They sent me a replacement motor very fast and sadly it did not fix the issue. Contacted them again and for my time and troubles they ended up sending me a replacement. I am very happy with their commitment to keeping a customer satisfied and would definitely recommend them to everyone and will be a return customer for another e-bike.

We bought two E2 bikes for our kids for Christmas there was a small issue just before summer hit. They really worked with me to resolve the issue and unfortunately what we thought was the issue was not. So although it was out of warranty they offered to send a brand new replacement bike. Even better they shipped the new bike immediately per our request (as supposed to waiting until they get back the old one back) and in time for our camping trip so we were able to use them. These are amazing on mountain bike trails. As a family that loves out dirt bikes you can't bring them anywhere (dirt bikes). These you can take anywhere you can have a regular bike and are an extremely fun way to explore around rough terrains, commute around town, or just go for a nice ride. I highly recommend their bikes!!

Absolutely love our E2s! What's more, the customer service has been extremely responsive and attentive as one of our headlights did not work upon arrival. However, problem resolved! We have over 200 miles on each bike now and find them to be more and more fun and a quality product with each ride.

I have waited to write this review cause I wanted to really see what this bike is all about. I just hit 910 miles (bought Christmas 2024) and it’s a lot of fun. So far I only changed the rear tire but everything works great. I’m new to the e-bike world so I didn’t want to spend $2-3k for a new e-bike. I get a lot of compliments on the Aesthetics but it performs really good.

This bike rides really well. And I love the Awesome customer care with quick response

E-bikes have saved the past time of kids riding in large packs through neighborhoods! Just about all of my kid's friends have now made purchases much like we did with the Windone K2. The battery is strong, the speed of the bike is fun for them (it has a throttle), it's one of the more durable e-bikes out there, and the price is great. The only drawback to this bike is the weight and size of it. The days of throwing the bike in the back of the SUV or pickup when they can't ride home themselves are basically gone unless you have a couple people to help. Even then it is a bulky machine.

Great tool for what I need at the moment, super solid feeling and very utilitarian looking. Many people ask about it. I will get a larger capacity 48v 4 pin Hailong battery and put smoother street tires on her soon.

Buy this bike. The Windone K2 electric bike is an exceptional bike. Everything I expected when I first chose it from hundreds of similar bikes a few months ago is true. I’ve owned it for a month now and confirm that it is the best out there in its class. Four years ago I bought an electric bike that was full of problems (bike company name on request). After sending parts back and forth for a year they told me to keep it and they gave me my money back. I then proceeded to rebuild the bike and it was perfect, I still have it. This is how I know that the Windone K20 electric bike is by far the best you will find, even at three times the price. I was looking for a bike that was more fun, I chose the Windone K20. It’s not super fast, so if you are looking for a real dirt bike, this is not it. Doing 24 mph pedaling on level ground is fast. The hydraulic brakes are fantastic. Suspension is great. Size, feel, and looks are cool. I was suspicious when I read that the “riding requirements” were ages 16 - 50. They also recommend a height of at least 5’7”- 6’7”. I am a seventy five year old man and I now stand at 5’5”. So Windone’s stats on those requirements are the only thing that is not completely accurate about this bike. Buy this bike.

Fits, works!

Assembly took just about an hour, and once everything was dialed in, it was ready to roll. The bike feels solid and well-built, with impressive attention to detail. The braking system is high-quality, giving reliable stopping power, and it comes with a smooth-shifting 7-speed Shimano drivetrain that handles hills and straights with ease.
For the electric side of things, there are five speed settings. If you rely on the throttle alone, you’ll hit speeds up to 19.6 mph. Kick in some pedal power, and it’ll assist you all the way up to 28.5 mph — perfect for cruising or commuting.
The suspension setup is another highlight. The front shocks offer adjustable rebound settings that really help smooth out rough terrain, and the rear spring is also adjustable for added comfort and control.
Overall, I’d highly recommend the WindOne E2 to anyone thinking about making the leap into e-bikes. It’s a versatile, adventure-ready ride that’s just as comfortable on paved roads as it is on dirt trails.

I ride the bike on trails in the woods and on paved roads. Love this bike and appreciate the suspension. Had an issue with a part and emailed support. They responded in a short time and shipped replacement parts. Bike is working great now. No buyers remorse. :)

I received the bike on time but there is a minor scratch on the body. This bike is very well made! I can take it off riding anywhere and it can handle all the bumps! The only thing I would say more is that the kick stand rattles a bit with bumpy rides, but other than that Everything are good.

I have owned several other foldable/ commuter scooters and this one is by far the best built and sturdy machines out there. The ride is smooth, comfortable and quiet and because of the quality construction, you feel more safe and confident on it. Chloe in the customer service department was excellent and the shipping was seamless. Highly recommend this scooter. Look nowhere else.

Fun and reliable

My first impression, upon arrival, was "this is heavy". However, after assembly, initial rides and now 100 miles on my E2, I have nothing but all the positive feels for this bike. The speed, quality, braking, durability and suspension, at this price point, cannot be beat. I love how durable and sturdy the suspension is. I love the peddle assist and the throttle, for various situations. I think this is the best deal around at the moment. The only thing I would say more is that the kick stand rattles a bit with bumpy rides, but other than that, it is 10/10!!

I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a question for customer service and they responded very promptly. Like 24/5. Bike works great it is 100% California St legal- any more powerful and it would need to be registered with the DMV. Goes up hills pretty easily. Even on the speed bumps I don't feel a bounce
